You certainly make Oregon look very enticing. That photo of the shipwreck is my favorite. Austin has a “Keep Austin Weird” motto, and I’m now wondering who copied who.

Portland copied Austin according to my tour guide. I haven’t been to Austin so I can’t speak to its weirdness, but Portland is definitely very weird. But in a totally awesome cool way.

Beautiful photos! As a native Washingtonian, it’s embarrassing how little of Oregon I’ve seen. I remember going to the coast when I was just a kid… but that’s it! I don’t think I’ve ever even been to Portland! That needs to be remedied as soon as I’m stateside again 🙂

    • Adelina says

      November 4, 2014 at 1:43 AM

Yes! You gotta go to Portland if only for the yummy food and beer.

What a beautiful coast, I’ve barely set foot in America (bar a 5 day stay in LA). I really must get over and see some more of it!

These photos are a perfect temptation to travel to Oregon! I travelled the from Portland, up the coast and to Seattle. I fell in love and plan to move there once we move back from South Korea! Great post! Visiting from the link up!

      November 4, 2014 at 1:42 AM

Yes! The drive along the coast is definitely gorgeous.

Oregon is already one of the states I am most interested in and those pictures just so exactly the reasons why I wanna go there 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

Just beautiful! When is the best time to visit Oregon? Summer I’m assuming, but any month preference?

    • Adelina says

      November 4, 2014 at 1:41 AM

I went in August and while the weather wasn’t the best along the coast, it’s definitely better than going at other times of the year! Inland gets really hot though so be prepared for huge changes in temperature. The day we drove inland we went from 20C (68F) to 30ish (86F) in the span of a 2 hour drive.

Thank you for all your great posts about Oregon, Adelina! Admittedly it was never really a place that was high on my to-visit list, but looking at your whole photo summary makes even me want to travel to Oregon right now… 🙂

    • Adelina says

      November 4, 2014 at 1:37 AM

Thanks Dennis! I have been really pleasantly surprised throught his whole thing at how awesome Oregon is to explore. There are still regions I haven’t been yet (mostly inland), that others have raved about.

Beautiful photos! I’ve only been to Oregon for a short trip of a couple days but was blow away by how gorgeous the scenery is. I’d love to spend more time there and especially get out to the coast.

    • Adelina says

      November 4, 2014 at 1:31 AM

I’m constantly surprised by how unique the scenery was throughout the state. Every part was different!

Absolutely stunning! I’ve never been to Oregon but would love to make it one day. I’m a big fan of the Oregon wines so it would be great to do a winery/nature trip.

    • Adelina says

      November 4, 2014 at 1:31 AM

Yea for sure! We didn’t get a chance to explore the wine regions but that would be great to go back for.
